To ensure smooth operations, park regulations have been established. By visiting our park, you automatically accept these park rules. We wish you a pleasant day and hope that the following regulations contribute to this.
Art. 1 Admission to the Amusement Park
1. If you wish to leave the park temporarily, this is only possible if you have had a daily stamp placed on your hand beforehand. You are responsible for ensuring that the stamp remains clearly visible.
2. Duplication and trading of admission tickets is prohibited.
3. Guests of Vakantiepark Drouwenerzand receive a daily admission ticket granting access; for temporary exits from the park, article 1.1 applies.
4. Our guests are required to wear appropriate clothing for reasons of hygiene, safety, and respect for children and other guests. Wearing swimwear in attractions is prohibited.
5. It is strictly forbidden to remain in the amusement park outside of opening hours.
6. In the event of park closure due to force majeure caused by extreme circumstances (e.g., weather conditions) beyond our control, no refunds will be given.
7. We reserve the right to change opening days and/or hours during the season.
8. We do not provide refunds for purchased products/services.
9. Expressing convictions or holding demonstrations is not allowed.
10. Persons aged 12 and over are not allowed to enter the park in costume/makeup.
Art. 2 Injury, Theft, and/or Damage
1. Drouwenerzand Attractiepark is not liable for injury, theft, and/or damage to your property, even if it has been taken in by one of our employees. You enter Drouwenerzand Attractiepark at your own risk.
2. Parents and supervisors (or a school, institution, etc.) are liable for damage caused by individuals entrusted to them.
3. In case of theft, the police will always be contacted.
4. If you have any damage or injury, you must report this to the supervisor before leaving. Liability of Drouwenerzand is waived for reports made afterward.
Art. 3 Attractions/Play Equipment
1. All attractions have their own safety regulations regarding, among other things, minimum height and physical condition. These regulations and the instructions of the employees must be followed at all times.
2. It may be that an attraction or play equipment is (temporarily) out of service due to repairs or maintenance. In addition, attractions may be temporarily closed due to weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusts of wind; this does not entitle you to a refund of the admission price, compensation, or other compensation.
3. On less busy days, it may occur that an employee operates 2 attractions; we ask for your understanding.
4. In most attractions, it is mandatory to wear footwear; for safety reasons, some attractions require footwear that is securely fastened around the foot (i.e., no slippers).
Art. 4 Food and Beverages
1. The provided food and beverages from our all-in formula may not be taken outside the park. Random bag checks may occur occasionally.
2. Always dispose of your waste in the designated containers.
Art. 5 (Pets)
1. For hygienic and safety reasons, animals are not allowed in the amusement park, with the exception of guide dogs.
2. If pets are reported in a car in the parking lot, we are obliged to contact an animal shelter.
Art. 6 Camera Surveillance / Photos and Video Recordings
1. For the protection of you and our safety and property, camera surveillance is present in the park.
2. It is possible that photos and/or video recordings will be made for advertising purposes during your visit. We reserve the right to use this material for publication. If you do not want to be in the picture, you can report to the photographer/film crew, identifiable by a yellow vest with the word 'photographer' and the Drouwenerzand logo.
3. A photo of you may be taken in an attraction, which you can purchase at the exit of the attraction; the photos taken are displayed on a screen.
Art. 7 Alcohol, Narcotics, Violence, and Nuisance
1. Excessive alcohol consumption, use of narcotics, vandalism, use of (physical or verbal) violence, and/or other undesirable behavior is prohibited. In case of incidents, the police will be contacted.
2. Carrying weapons or other dangerous objects is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove the possessor from the premises, possibly in cooperation with the police.
3. It is not allowed to bring glassware into the park.
4. Use of sound carriers that cause nuisance is not allowed.
Art. 8 Smoking Policy
1. Drouwenerzand Attractiepark is smoke-free, with the exception of a smoking area.
2. The smoking policy also applies to the use of e-cigarettes/vapes.
Art. 9 Parking
1. You are expected to comply with traffic regulations in our parking lots and follow the instructions of our parking attendants; if you violate these, we may have your car removed from the parking lot at your expense.
2. Parking fees are charged for our parking lot, which is exclusively for guests of our park. Free parking is available for guests of the adjacent Robin Hood restaurant, buses, and disabled persons in the Robin Hood parking lot.
3. Parking is entirely at your own risk, and we accept no liability for any damage or theft.
Art. 10 General
1. To provide you with a hospitable visit to Drouwenerzand, we may require your personal data in some cases. In our privacy statement, available at www.drouwenerzand.nl, we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and on what basis.
2. Making advertisements, holding collections, offering goods, etc., is not allowed unless permission has been granted by the management.
3. Use of drones is not allowed unless permission has been granted by the management.
4. Drouwenerzand spends a lot of time and care on the maintenance of the park. Nevertheless, you may encounter less pleasant things. If this is the case, we would appreciate it if you would report this to one of our employees.
5. The employees of Drouwenerzand are authorized to remove persons from the park if these persons do not comply with the park rules. In this case, the person who is removed is not entitled to compensation.
In all cases not covered by these regulations, the management decides. The supervisor also decides on the correct interpretation and application of these regulations.
