Park Rules – Drouwenerzand Amusement Park
To ensure a pleasant and safe visit for everyone, park rules have been established. By visiting our park, you automatically agree to these park rules. We wish you a pleasant day and hope that the following guidelines will contribute to an enjoyable visit.
Article 1 – Access to the Amusement Park
1.1 If you wish to leave the park temporarily, this is only possible if you have first received a day stamp on your hand. You are responsible for ensuring that the stamp remains clearly visible.
1.2 Copying or reselling entrance tickets is prohibited.
1.3 Guests of Drouwenerzand Holiday Park receive a daily entrance ticket granting access to the park. When temporarily leaving the park, Article 1.1 applies.
1.4 Guests must wear appropriate clothing for reasons of hygiene, safety, and respect for children and other visitors. Wearing swimwear on attractions is not permitted.
1.5 It is strictly forbidden to remain in the amusement park outside opening hours.
1.6 If the park closes due to force majeure or extreme circumstances (for example weather conditions) beyond our control, no refunds will be given.
1.7 We reserve the right to change opening days and/or opening hours during the season.
1.8 No refunds will be granted for purchased products or services.
1.9 Expressing political or ideological views publicly or holding demonstrations in the park is not permitted.
1.10 Persons aged 12 and older are not allowed to enter the park in costume or with face paint.
Article 2 – Injury, Theft and/or Damage
2.1 Drouwenerzand Amusement Park is not liable for injury, theft, or damage to your personal belongings. This also applies to items temporarily taken by one of our employees. Entering the park is entirely at your own risk.
2.2 Parents and guardians (or schools, institutions, etc.) are liable for damage caused by individuals under their supervision.
2.3 In the event of theft, the police will always be contacted.
2.4 If you experience damage or injury, this must be reported to a supervisor before leaving the park. If reported afterwards, Drouwenerzand Amusement Park cannot be held liable.
Article 3 – Attractions / Play Equipment
3.1 All attractions have their own safety regulations regarding minimum height, physical condition, and other safety requirements. These rules and instructions from staff must always be followed.
3.2 It may occur that an attraction or play structure is temporarily out of service due to repairs or maintenance. Attractions may also close temporarily due to weather conditions. This does not entitle visitors to a refund or compensation.
3.3 On less busy days, it may occur that one employee operates two attractions and/or that some attractions open at 11:00 AM. We kindly ask for your understanding.
3.4 Wearing footwear is mandatory on most attractions. In some attractions, shoes must be securely fastened to the feet (no flip-flops).
Article 4 – Food and Drinks
4.1 Food and drinks provided as part of our all-inclusive formula may not be taken outside the park. Random bag checks may occasionally take place.
4.2 Please dispose of your waste in the designated containers.
4.3 Please only take food and drinks that you will actually consume to prevent food waste. Intentional waste may result in a park ban.
Article 5 – (Domestic) Animals
5.1 For hygiene and safety reasons, animals are not allowed in the amusement park, with the exception of guide dogs.
5.2 If a pet is reported to be inside a car in the parking area, we will be obliged to contact an animal welfare organization.
Article 6 – Camera Surveillance / Photos and Video Recordings
6.1 For your safety and the protection of our property, the park is monitored by cameras. We handle these recordings with care and comply with privacy legislation (GDPR).
6.2 During your visit, photos and/or video recordings may be made for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in images, please inform the photographer or film crew.
6.3 In some attractions, a photo may be taken of you which can be purchased at the exit.
Article 7 – Alcohol, Drugs, Violence and Nuisance
7.1 Excessive alcohol consumption, the use of drugs, vandalism, violence, or other inappropriate behavior is prohibited. In case of incidents, the police will be contacted.
7.2 We do not serve or sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. If there is any doubt about age, our staff will request a valid ID. If you are under 25, please have your ID ready. It is prohibited to give alcohol to persons under 18. Violations will result in removal from the park and a park ban.
7.3 Carrying weapons or other dangerous objects is prohibited.
7.4 Glassware may not be brought into the park. Glassware provided in the VIP area must remain there.
7.5 The use of sound equipment or music devices that cause disturbance is not permitted.
Article 8 – Smoking Policy
8.1 Drouwenerzand Amusement Park is smoke-free, except for designated smoking areas.
8.2 This smoking policy also applies to e-cigarettes and vapes.
Article 9 – Parking
9.1 Please follow the traffic rules on our parking areas and the instructions of our parking attendants.
9.2 Parking fees apply for our parking area. The parking area of restaurant Robin Hood is reserved exclusively for their guests, buses, and visitors with disabilities.
9.3 Parking is entirely at your own risk. We accept no liability for damage or theft.
Article 10 – General
10.1 In order to provide a pleasant visit, we may process personal data in certain situations. Please refer to our privacy statement at
drouwenerzand.nl.
10.2 Advertising, collecting donations, or offering goods is not permitted without permission from management.
10.3 The use of drones is not permitted without permission from management.
10.4 If you encounter anything during your visit that does not meet your expectations, please report it to one of our staff members.
10.5 Staff members are entitled to remove persons from the park if they do not comply with the park rules. In such cases, no compensation will be provided.
In all situations not covered by these regulations, the management will decide. The park management also determines the correct interpretation of these rules.

Art. 1 Admission to the Amusement Park
- If you wish to leave the park temporarily, this is only possible if you have had a daily stamp placed on your hand beforehand. You are responsible for ensuring that the stamp remains clearly visible.
- Duplication and trading of admission tickets is prohibited.
- Guests of Vakantiepark Drouwenerzand receive a daily admission ticket granting access; for temporary exits from the park, article 1.1 applies.
- Our guests are required to wear appropriate clothing for reasons of hygiene, safety, and respect for children and other guests. Wearing swimwear in attractions is prohibited.
- It is strictly forbidden to remain in the amusement park outside of opening hours.
- In the event of park closure due to force majeure caused by extreme circumstances (e.g., weather conditions) beyond our control, no refunds will be given.
- We reserve the right to change opening days and/or hours during the season.
- We do not provide refunds for purchased products/services.
- Expressing convictions or holding demonstrations is not allowed.

- Parents and supervisors (or a school, institution, etc.) are liable for damage caused by individuals entrusted to them.
- In case of theft, the police will always be contacted.
- If you have any damage or injury, you must report this to the supervisor before leaving. Liability of Drouwenerzand is waived for reports made afterward.
Art. 3 Attractions/Play Equipment
- All attractions have their own safety regulations regarding, among other things, minimum height and physical condition. These regulations and the instructions of the employees must be followed at all times.
- It may be that an attraction or play equipment is (temporarily) out of service due to repairs or maintenance. In addition, attractions may be temporarily closed due to weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusts of wind; this does not entitle you to a refund of the admission price, compensation, or other compensation.
- On less busy days, it may occur that an employee operates 2 attractions; we ask for your understanding.
- In most attractions, it is mandatory to wear footwear; for safety reasons, some attractions require footwear that is securely fastened around the foot (i.e., no slippers).
Art. 4 Food and Beverages
- The provided food and beverages from our all-in formula may not be taken outside the park. Random bag checks may occur occasionally.
- Always dispose of your waste in the designated containers.
Art. 5 (Pets)
- For hygienic and safety reasons, animals are not allowed in the amusement park, with the exception of guide dogs.
- If pets are reported in a car in the parking lot, we are obliged to contact an animal shelter.
Art. 6 Camera Surveillance / Photos and Video Recordings
- For the protection of you and our safety and property, camera surveillance is present in the park.
- It is possible that photos and/or video recordings will be made for advertising purposes during your visit. We reserve the right to use this material for publication. If you do not want to be in the picture, you can report to the photographer/film crew, identifiable by a yellow vest with the word ‘photographer’ and the Drouwenerzand logo.
- A photo of you may be taken in an attraction, which you can purchase at the exit of the attraction; the photos taken are displayed on a screen.
Art. 7 Alcohol, Narcotics, Violence, and Nuisance
- Excessive alcohol consumption, use of narcotics, vandalism, use of (physical or verbal) violence, and/or other undesirable behavior is prohibited. In case of incidents, the police will be contacted.
- Carrying weapons or other dangerous objects is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove the possessor from the premises, possibly in cooperation with the police.
- It is not allowed to bring glassware into the park.
- Use of sound carriers that cause nuisance is not allowed.
Art. 8 Smoking Policy
- Drouwenerzand Attractiepark is smoke-free, with the exception of a smoking area.
- The smoking policy also applies to the use of e-cigarettes/vapes.
Art. 9 Parking
- You are expected to comply with traffic regulations in our parking lots and follow the instructions of our parking attendants; if you violate these, we may have your car removed from the parking lot at your expense.
- Parking fees are charged for our parking lot, which is exclusively for guests of our park. Free parking is available for guests of the adjacent Robin Hood restaurant, buses, and disabled persons in the Robin Hood parking lot.
- Parking is entirely at your own risk, and we accept no liability for any damage or theft.
Art. 10 General
- To provide you with a hospitable visit to Drouwenerzand, we may require your personal data in some cases. In our privacy statement, available at www.drouwenerzand.nl, we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and on what basis.
- Making advertisements, holding collections, offering goods, etc., is not allowed unless permission has been granted by the management.
- Use of drones is not allowed unless permission has been granted by the management.
- Drouwenerzand spends a lot of time and care on the maintenance of the park. Nevertheless, you may encounter less pleasant things. If this is the case, we would appreciate it if you would report this to one of our employees.
- The employees of Drouwenerzand are authorized to remove persons from the park if these persons do not comply with the park rules. In this case, the person who is removed is not entitled to compensation.
In all cases not covered by these regulations, the management decides. The supervisor also decides on the correct interpretation and application of these regulations.
